MT5 'AutoTrading Disabled' Error: Causes and Fixes

Check these in order

1. The Algo Trading toolbar button is green.
2. Tools → Options → Expert Advisors → Allow algorithmic trading is ticked.
3. The EA’s own Common → Allow Algo Trading box is ticked.
4. Your account is not investor-password (read-only).
5. The broker allows EA trading on that account type.
